Podczas wdra\u017cania bardziej zaawansowanych technik modelowania 3d –\u00a0szuka\u0142em tematu\u00a0lub obiektu, kt\u00f3ry m\u00f3g\u0142by pos\u0142u\u017cy\u0107 do testowania i nauki nowych technik pracy. Zbiegiem okoliczno\u015bci dzia\u0142ania te na\u0142o\u017cy\u0142y si\u0119 na zainteresowanie moich syn\u00f3w sklejaniem modeli samolot\u00f3w.\u00a0Uzna\u0142em wi\u0119c, \u017ce idealnym obiektem to tego typu dzia\u0142a\u0144 by\u0142by samolot.<\/p>\n

Nie\u00a0chcia\u0142em\u00a0budowa\u0107 modelu samolotu, dobrze znanego, czy te\u017c zachowanego. The genesis of the reconstruction project
\nDuring the implementation of more advanced 3D modeling techniques \u2013 we were looking for an interesting subject, an object that could be used to test and learn new work techniques. Coincidentally, these activities have contributed to my son’s interest in making models \u2013 and so I thought that the ideal model would be an airplane model.<\/p>\n

We didn’t want to build a model of a well-known or preserved airplane. We thought about something more interesting \u2013 accidentally we found pictures of the plane, which was not typical. Initially, interest as a technical object turned into a fascinating and absorbing journey in time. History of airplane development turned out to be as interesting as the plane itself. At some point, work and subject absorbed us so much that the number of materials developed and the time dedicated for their development have given us the idea to publish our work \u2013 and create a mini virtual museum dedicated to the largest Polish pre-war bomber LWS-6 \u2013 Zubr.<\/p>\n

Projekt ten nale\u017cy przede wszystkim traktowa\u0107 jako dzia\u0142anie w obszarze grafiki 3d (bardziej ni\u017c aspekcie historycznym) – niemniej jednak starali\u015bmy si\u0119 mo\u017cliwie wiernie trzyma\u0107 dost\u0119pnych materia\u0142\u00f3w i odwzorowa\u0107 w wierny spos\u00f3b orygina\u0142.<\/p>\n

Bazowali\u015bmy na og\u00f3lnie dost\u0119pnych rysunkach technicznych, niestety rysunki te maj\u0105 charakter pogl\u0105dowy, nie s\u0105 autentyczn\u0105 dokumentacj\u0105 techniczn\u0105 co pozostawia pewien margines interpretacji, lub niepowiedzenia. Dost\u0119pne zdj\u0119cia samolotu prezentuj\u0105 samolot w r\u00f3\u017cnych wersjach rozwojowych, nie ma pe\u0142nej dokumentacji technicznej, ani \u00a0fotograficznej danego modelu wariantu samolotu. Stare zdj\u0119cia nie oddaj\u0105 wszystkich szczeg\u00f3\u0142\u00f3w i informacji na temat wygl\u0105dy tego samolotu.<\/p>\n

Celem by\u0142o stworzenie modelu daj\u0105cego realne og\u00f3lne wra\u017cenie, przy ca\u0142ej \u015bwiadomo\u015bci pomini\u0119cia pewnych szczeg\u00f3\u0142\u00f3w, kt\u00f3rych nie byli\u015bmy w stanie odwzorowa\u0107 przy dost\u0119pnych zasobach, czasu i materia\u0142\u00f3w wyj\u015bciowych. This project should first of all be treated as an action in the area of 3d graphics (more than the historical aspect) – nevertheless, we tried to faithfully keep the available materials and reproduce the original in a precise way.<\/p>\n

We based on publicly available technical drawings, unfortunately, the drawings are not accurate. They are not authentic technical documentation and this leaves some margin of interpretation or non-disclosure. The available photos of the aircraft present the airplane in various development versions, there is no full technical documentation or photographic documentation of a given variant model. Old photos do not give away all the details and information about the appearance of this aircraft.<\/p>\n

The goal was to create a model that gives a real overall impression, with the whole awareness of omitting some details that we were not able to reproduce with available resources, time and historical materials. Enjoy a virtual walk and travel in time.<\/p>\n
